Porscha is a poet, genre bending prose writer, interdisciplinary artist, Priestess, and Wisdom Keeper from Washington DC. When she isn't creating she is watching the birds out her studio window, playing TTRPGs, reading, or connecting in community with other femme creatives, disabled folks and chronically ill kin.
Porscha is a graduate fellow of The Watering Hole Poetry, a two time Hurston Wright Fellow, an active member of Zora's Den: A sisterhood of Writer as well as a member of The Wings collective founded by Marita Golden. She is the founder of Lucy Press, and the sole proprietor of Savior Self Studio.
Porscha's work centers Black life and leans into the spiritual and sexual, sacred, profane with deep inquiry into cycles of the body and how they mirror natural cycles of the land. Her Spiritual work seeks to lead Black femme folks in finding divinity in self while honoring multifaceted lineages of ancestors and deities.
As a facilitator of alternative sexual and kink education Porscha believes strongly in reclaiming sacred sexuality, redefining and playing with power and creating spaces to explore the profane safely and respectfully. She is serious about consent, liberation, audacity and self expression in every facet of her work and often combines her multi passions to create art that cuts through narrow societal expectations of Black women and femmes and speaks to the nuances of their interior lives.
